2017
This year was dedicated to addressing Willow B's much deferred maintenance issues.
The Crew found few major issues,
but many minor issues or concerns to address.
Having Willow B only 20 minutes from home has allowed us to work on her systems at our
leisure.
Here's a short list of tasks completed over the year:
Re-Time Main Engine Fuel Injector Pump
Replace Main Engine Exhaust Manifold Gaskets
Replace Main Engine Raw Water Pump
Replace Upper Helm Steering Pump
Install New Bimini Bow and Fabric
Remove Port Bridge Back-to-Back seat group and replace with 2nd Bridge Pedistal Seat
Remove Redundant Supplies
Remove Single Mattress from Vee Berth and built new Vee Berth Cushons from scratch
Recovered Dinette Cushons in Solon to match Vee Berth Cushons
Replaced Vee Berth Portlight Gaskets
Resealed and Applied Kiwigrip (non-skid) to ForeDeck
Placed Name & Hailing Port on Transom (was covered by Dingy on the Swim Platform)
2017 has taught the the Crew a valuable lesson...
We are NOT an Inland River Crew!
Open Waters and Far Horizons are much preferred.
New Friends are around every bend and awaiting at the next anchorage.
Afterall this is the very reason we aquired Willow B in the first place.
Until Next Year
Willow B
